Just because the light is not coming on doesn't mean it's not wired properly, it really depends on the model and features of your remote start unit, and who, when it was installed, decided what features were enabled. Might be as simple as turning on a feature or hooking up a wire. But without knowing what's under your dash it's next to impossible to give good advice ..........
