How was he wrong?

The ONE guy who turboed his V10 "windowed" his block. In laymans terms, that means the engine threw rods.

The other guy sounds like he hasn't run the engine very much since the turbo was installed, and from the looks of that charge tube plumbed to the TB, is going to have a massive boost leak.

what are the dimensions of the v10 it doesnt look any bigger then a 460!

Its longer, wider and taller than the 460.

What more info do you need ???
Maybe how much boost the guy was trying to run? Or if he had an intercooler?

Or a bunch of other things that are VERY important to keeping those rods inside the block?

As You know this is a 6 Y/O thread..It ends VERY badly.. it seems to be a fairly dead issue.
