do i need a drop pitman arm?
here is my dilema.
i plan on in the future to do a SAS on my 82 F150. will be going with 9" coils and 4" drop radius arm brackets. right now the truck is stock and has no lift. i know i need to find the steering linkage setup from a f350 4wd, but what i dont know is if i need a drop pitman arm to compensate for the added lift or if a stock one will work. im just getting enough info now for this swap, that way when i decide to tackle the project i wont be running all over the place looking for certain parts lol.
anyone have any ideas?
