If the PSDs are troublesome why does your fleet have so many Fords compared to Chevys/GMCs?

Fords issues are all warranty. We are spreading out our fleet but fords are cheap, have you priced a 4x4 5500 series duramax? Our GMs have problems too not drivetrain but nickle and dime. We've been phasing out of 6.0s into Duramaxs due to 6.0 issues. we gave ford a chance w/ the 6.4s but it's not looking good. They do however standby their product, all our issues are warranty, GMs are not warranty after 36K miles.

The truck will be driven non-stop (3 drivers) until it reaches the Las Vegas Convention Center for the SEMA show. So, once again I don't believe a word your saying, 3 out of 25 trucks is a major issue and seems your the only one seeing the problem. Have a nice day. Give us VINs and Repair Orders and we will talk sensibly untill then I call BS!
PM me a e mail addy and I'll gladly provide you the work orders. How much you wanna bet on 3 failures? I'd like to bet that I can back it up and you'll say you were wrong and your buddy doesn't know what he's talking about, hows that sound? If I can't I'll gladly leave...

PSD6Liter40 has the work order. Two more are in the shop now and work order will follow when ford can get them back together (it took them 10 days to get this one running not including weekends).

I find the PM you sent me hilarious, just to show what an *** you are here is what it said "I'll e mail them to you monday. your buddy doesn't know **** about powerstrokes. I'll be laughing at your retarded *** on monday. I'd send it tonight but I need to block out the VIN # as it's not your business and our contact info."

Well guys I do have the work order, there were "particles in the fuel cooler" the work order says. Seems to me that the fuel cooler is pre-Injector/CP3 Pump and he is bitching about the pump and 8 injectors supposedly going out. No where in the work order does it say that the Injectors were bad nor all the other stuff he says went out. They replaced them to make sure there was a clean system. Something, a foreign object was in your fuel system(s) and caused the problem, you say its carbon from combustion, but how in the hell is carbon from the exhaust pipe going to get in your fuel cooler Mr. MonteCarlo. Apparently you have no idea how an automobile works and you call my friend, a certified Powerstroke diesel mechanic an idiot? Looks to me the pot calling the kettle black so to speak......

This statement is false, maybe you can't count, the truck was dropped off on October the 6th, work started on October the 9th, and was picked up on the 16th. So the truck was in the shop a total of 10 days INCLUDING WEEKENDS and 5 days in a service bay. Gotta love that Florida math they are teaching down there!

Wrong... There is a w/o before that one complaining of the issue, they had no idea what to do so they said drive it till it breaks or we get help from ford. Do you need that one too?

Oh yeah forgot, if the fuel injectors can't stay closed then carbon from the combustion process can RE ENTER THE FUEL SYSTEM. it has nothing to do with the tail pipe, it has to do with the actual combustion chamber. I'm sure this thread is going to get locked but just admit your wrong and move on. Oh yeah, I'll be on 3 more. WE don't have 3 more math man, I said we had 3 total so that would be two more (1+2=3).

Im wasting my time here, but here goes nothing. Your telling me that carbon particles re-entered the fuel injector and back fed through the CP3 pump and the secondary filter into the fuel cooler? Common rail injection operates at over 5,000 PSI at idle, at Wide Open Throttle it can be over 20,000 psi. Considering peak cylinder pressure of a diesel is only 2800 psi maybe you should do the math. Or maybe I am an idiot....... This is my last post on this topic as they saying, arguing on the internet is like the special olympics, no matter who wins your still retarded (no pun intended).

I just sold it the other day its great if your not gonna drop the change for a Spartan DashDaq. I barely ever used it, the Spartan is worth the money just for the gauges let alone its powerful tuning.
