So yesterday I started the process of changing the spark plugs on my BMW. I thought that it would take forever, but it was extremely easy to work on. The entire tear down only required a 10mm socket. And then the actual plugs took an 11/16 socket. I was done in around two hours. Those Germans sure do know how to construct a vehicle. All in all it was about an 8 beer job and I learned why they call BMWs the "Ultimate Driving Machine."

lol. I have an 730i that Im driving around Germany. Now if I could figure out why the rear defrost decided to quit working, it'd be great.
i love old bmws and have had about 7 myself. last one i had was a 99 740i. nice car but the aluminum block motor leaked oil like a harley. as for your 91 525i, thats a bullet proof motor (M50) if you take care of it. what kind of plugs did you use and whered you get them? theres a guy in alpharetta, GA, steve haygood, that is great for parts real cheap .the only plug recommended for that car are bosch supers. white plug with green striping, most auto parts stores have to order them. if you used anything else, order the supers and put them in as soon as you can. do you have a bentley manual? if not thats an investment worth making!! post a couple pics if you can i wouldl ove to see her!!!!
