I am not sure why that question would be in the wrong forum, but I don't remember anyone mentioning it. The blend would have to be pretty light from a biodiesel point of view from my understanding though. Apparently it will gum things up if you introduce too much into the system. A tech will probably respond to you later today though.
Here in Macon, GA I filled up a couple times with a 5% BIO 15 ppm ULSDF at the Murphy Oil station which is a part of WalMart. No problems, but I find that I get almost 1 mpg less than straight ULSDF.
Maybe something I did differently, but I do not think so. AS INFO,
I am aware of both of those requirements. As I stated above, when I use 5% BIO I get 1 mpg less. That is a substantial loss, considering I start at 12.5 mpg with my dually F-350; and reduce to 11.5 using 5% BIO.
it makes no sense acually cause even a 5% bio will start to plug up the fuel system, yes they will run but the life expectancy of the engine will drop drasticlly.

B5 has no effect on engine life expectancy. The reason that Bio causes clogging is that it acts like a cleaner. It cleans and removes deposits of dirt that have piled up. I'd keep a spare fuel filter with you and that's about it. It will not effect the life of the engine.
I've run B-5 in mine from day one with absolutely no problems. Buy it at the local Farm Bureau Coop, made from domestic oil and soybeans. Also use Power Service at every fill up.
I don't know how to post a PDF file but I can e mail one. Your fuel should be a MIN of 45 Cetane and no more then 5% bio diesel per int'l and ford.
Where does anybody find 45 Cetane diesel, bio or dino? Every pump I've ever used says "Minimum 40 cetane", which indicates its a crap shoot as to whether I'm getting 40, 45 or 50?
I vividly remember seeing 45 on a pump somewhere at least twice, but I cannot recall the station. Afraid, once again, big oil got us. You almost have to think that a lot of problems in our diesel engines would be eliminated with uniform fuel.
P. S. I have been driving a diesel powered vehicle for almost 6 years. Murphy Oil at Walmart has 5 % BIO.

What source does your PDF file quote for 45 cetane? My Ford book does not specify.
