truck bed weight
well you think i'd be able to guess this being I just replaced my bed...but what is the near weight of an 8ft box? I wanna say around if not more than 200 lbs, I think it might be under that being my friend and I lifted it off a truck and on a truck ourselves

really? my friend and I did it on our own? we lifted it off the sides, used a picker to move it over a 100 yards to my trailer, trailered it to my house. took my old one off by lifting it and pushing it over
took the new one lifted it from the wheel area up and slightly on the bed and slid it on

I dont know the exact weight but it is a hell of a lot more than 200 lbs.!!! lol. My 79 F-250 came with a bed off of a 1987-1997 ford. I took that one off by myself ( I am 17), but I had to have 4 people help put the correct era bed on my truck. And we were pretty strong. lol

It didnt seem too much more heavy, the reason I was asking was because I was going to recycle it but then well with the price of steel being .01 at the moment, if it was 200lbs i'd get $2 
it'd cost me 20 bucks just to get up there and back home. I might make it into a trailer for hauling wood from down the hill to the house
