In stock mode, yes. But it also limits fuel during acceleration to help control smoke, which would be a bad thing in case of a tuner or chip, so I'm sure they've figured out a way around that. Perhaps your MAP reading is by design from Diablo?
Maybe just set your truck back to stock and check the reading on the MAP to see if it changes. If I were you, I'd be following Dan's advice and looking at fuel pressure. In any case, it doesn't sound like a 911 type problem, so that's good news.
would the cps from dptuner help solve my cyl problems?
Possibly, but I should point out that unless you can feel some type of issue with the CPS, you may not need to change it just because what the little computer says. I've got a black CPS from DP, and hope to change it out this weekend and see what difference it makes on my #3 & #8. My gray one has been in for about 45k miles, and if it wasn't for the computer saying so, I'd never know there was an issue.

yes good news for sure but i just realized it dont smoke like it used to leading me to do a scan in the first place. Well i'll get to the bottom of thifor sures
so what its showing on no3 and no8 will not affect my truck in anyway?
It hasn't affected mine. Roland didn't think there was any issues with his gray CPS, but said he did notice a difference when he switched back to the black one. I'll let you know after I change mine, but I'd say you should be fine for the next 45,000 miles or so.
i've noticed a mechanical knock latley still knocks when truck is in defuel coasting what am i lookin at guys? thanks
This is my biggest concern. None of the things discussed thus far should cause a mechanical knock during defuel coasting. You need to find the source of this knock.
what would cause a mechanical knock.... mainley when cold
Mike is right, of course, but I can't hear a knock over the internet, even when they post a sound clip. Just reading about it, I'm even worse. I usually think of a knock as the lower end of the motor, and a tap as the upper end, but that's about all I can offer.
Any better description you can offer on this that might clue others in?
but it probablly wouldn't explain much cause it was runnin good at the time it was taken. some of yal may remember my thread about motorcraft oil messin with it ... i got the delo sittin in the floor to change but hadn't done it. I strongly believe the oil is messin with the motor but that oil WILL be changed out monday no questions now!
