So Kenny and I have been discussing this......but neither one of us can remember. A member of this chapter is brothers with the guy that runs the junkyard on 30 just west of Chapman......who is it?
I know Kenny's interested in "shopping" there and I wouldn't mind checking it out either (after living 5 miles away from it my whole life!!!)
Morning All, yep thats me,finally got the harley tucked away so maybe i can start on my 79 or 68,you guy more than welcome to slush around the yard, with the recent rains its kinda muddy so bring boots
what do you all have out at the junkyard? i see you are working on your 79 and said you have some parts trucks.. i need some tie rods for my 79.. right now it is so hard to move with the tires folding in or out.. just something so I can push it back and forth in the garage.. it is my parts truck anyway.
naw thats me putting stuff on craigslist and i got a partner on the carlot that puts alot of stuff on too, since all this rain we be having this year haven't even tried to organize the yard so everything is scattered, plenty 79's around here, alot of early80's too,gtg would be great if ya like junkyards,we more ford than anything so the chevy's get crushed, lol,
120 miles or so for you Pat.. if you have drove to G.I. before.. and know how long it usually takes you (not sure how fast you drive) then that is pretty much it.. you can always take Hwy 92 go through wahoo, shelby(my home town) and central city to get on hwy 30. but that is two lane and small towns that you slow down in. but i usually fly down that road. i never take interstate.
What Dallas said!!! Rob said when he lived in Omaha and came out this way he'd go the 92/30 route....and I can vouch that you can fly down 92 and traffic is usually moving about 62-65 on 30......
