Weird clunk Help

I have a 77 F-250 400/C-6 Dana 60 rearend. Been noticing a clunk at different speeds under acceleration and coast. Oddly it is a rapid succesion of about 4-6 clunks all happening within 3-5 seconds. It will go a week or 2 before it comes back. I have put it up in the air shook the pinion, tires, driveshaft, and anything that hangs under the truck in all gear combinations. I'm curious as to what it is and afraid to go bald if I scratch my head much more.
Next step is to pull the diff cover and looky looky any help would be greatly appreciated Posted this under Drivetrain with no help

Weird clunk Help

That is odd....first things i'd check. Drive shaft u joints, rear drive shaft flange to the pinion, pinion bearings, tranny mount. If none of those work, try u bolts mounting axle to springs, spring mounts, spring eye bushings, and shackle bushings. then if that doesn't find anything...pull off the rear diff cover. check ring and pinion teeth, differential gears,,,side and pinion. Carrier bearings and if its a limited slip,,,check the clutch packs. If that doesn't work..let me know and i'll think some more.

Check the center pins in the spring packs, check for broken leaves, and if it's a limited slip, maybe drain and refill with synthetic and the correct additive.
