yellow O rings

ok my question is is it nessesary to replace the yellow O rings when replacing the hub if you have manual locking hubs

Depends on your school of thought. I have two rules with o-rings, never reinstall an old one and if it hits the floor it's no good. This comes from rebuilding scuba equipment, and o-ring failures are very bad. I say you might as well while you have it apart. If you don't replace it, be sure to lube it up before you put it back together. A lot of the o-ring problems I have seen have been from people not lubing them and they get stretched and contorted on installation of the parts.
