first heavy haul
Just got back from my second trip hauling my mink pelts down to the pelting plant. First trip 8000 lbs never knew the trailer was back there. Second load put on about 13,000 lbs and it pulled real well all 200 miles. Tonite I plan on loading close to 16,000 lbs and sneaking past the scale and see how it'll handle that. Real impressed with the hauling of this truck and glad I made the purchase.

Well I made the trip, all 250 miles down. But I think it was a little too much for the truck and trailer. Cruise only kicked off twice so it wasn't that bad. I think I'll stick to around 12,000 lbs for my truck and trialer set up. That trip was about 2500 animals, only another 15,000 to go. Some of the males are not so little, we have some that can get up to 8 lbs.
