Ok too start my 4.6 blew the spark plug out of #4 hole checked compresion only 15 psi, bought a used engine, my vin has a w so it should be a romeo in a 03 f150 put used motor in which is a romeo, noticed it had extra pulley's on drivers side, and p/s pump wouldn't mount up, swapped timing covers all looks good except one hole dosn't line up on cover next too the water pump will this be ok too fill in with strong silicone? Will rhe engine work ok, also found out the engine I pulled out ended up being a windsor not romeo which would explain the difference, but are from the same year so the old owner tells me. This is turning out to bea nightmare of a project only paid $500.00 for the used engine.
Tryu posting this question in the section covering your engine type, Modular V8 (4.6L, 5.4L), and you'll get a response. Unfortunately, I'm not very familiar with the 4.6.
