Just got mine back for the reflash and lo and behold just before I got home I got the "cleaning exhaust filter" message, remained on the display until completed and then said something like ehxaust drive complete. So at least I know mine is working properly but curious if anything additional was added to the flash. By the way I have 1300 miles on and initially averaged 13.4 or so mixed driving. I do not know if it is because I broke 1000 miles or that I pulled my trailer (8000 lbs. approx) but at around 1000 miles started averaging between 15.5 and 16.5 mixed driving. Curious what straight highway will get me. I do drive with a light foot though for those that are curious. So far this truck .

Had mine done yesterday and it works as expected. Not sure why there is a hold. Can we have a ford tech validate there actually is a hold or is this just some bad information. Mine was done yesterday and it seems to work fine.

I have an appointment at 2 pm today and I'm going to go ahead and get it done. If we get a new one next week, I get it done also. It's free.

Mine does shift differently and I just had a regen before the reprogram. I don't care if the message center tells me or not. I have noticed EVERY single regen in the past 22,000 miles. They were coming every 350 miles until the DPF took a dump (REALLY cracked) when I was towing heavy. Now I get 'em every 400-450 miles. I see a SLIGHT improvement in mileage but too early to tell exactly by how much, but I suspect <.5mpg.

I must say that so far, I'd pay for this one. Trans. shifts are firmer, I've noticed shift points are slightly higher and the engine is slightly quieter in certain RPM ranges.

Just dropped my pickup for 08B07 this morning. They did not mention any hold. I guess we'll see by this afternoon if they do it or not.

I would like to know just how you notice your in Regen. I know you can have a slight increase in RPM and I would guess the boost gage would show an increase, but I honestly can't tell unless I get into the throttle and have no power and lots of white smoke in back of my truck. I'm one who wants to know when I'm in regen. You don't want to take on a 3% grade pulling 13,000 lbs only to find out you have no power.

The "white smoke" is always an indication but I know it's in regen BEFORE the smoke starts. I don't know if I'll be able to tell that early now with the re-flash but I'll know in another 300 miles. There is a very slight sound difference at the start of a regen, soft ticking change, boost on mine limited to 20 PSI and of course elevated idle to 750 rpm when in gear. The sound also changes at the end of the regen when that soft ticking goes away, a press on the throttle showing more than 20 lb. of boost confirms the regen is complete.

I'm at the dealer right now getting mine done. Both the 08B07 and the 08B06. I reset my MPG at every fill up to see what mileage I get hand calculated vs. the computer. I am at about 50 miles into this tank and have 13.2 MPG on the guage. Thats about all I get. Usually I am in the mid-high 12 MPG range by the end of the tank according to the computer. Seems it's usually about .5 MPG lower than what I come up with by hand. So we will see if this new program changes my MPG. I am hopeful but honestly not expecting it. If it does increase thats just a bonus.

I took my Job 2 into the dealer last week for inspection and both programs. Got a call from the dealer that the TCU did not accept the reflash. When that happens they have to replace the TCU. That unit has to come from the supplier and is not stocked by Ford. Still waiting for the part arrive at the dealer. The service writer told me that this happens some times. Anyone else have this happen?

had a problem with mine and they used one off of their trucks in the lot for sale. But my issue was not due to the reflash, I will be getting that done today.

My issue was a hard shift, hard enough I thought I was rear-ended.

They had a problem reflashing mine. I forget what he said they did, I think they just tried it a few time, but it did eventually work. For the next 30 miles I went all the way up to 19MPG on the guage But just in the last 10 miles it's slowly gone down to the low 17's. I think I will need to go through one more tank to make a final determination on whether or not the mileage has increased.

Hi all, this is my first post. I just got my F-250 reflashed yesterday and it does drive different like others have said. Seems like it has a little more get up and go right off the start to. Not as much lag which is nice. My mpg's have been about 1 to 2 mpg better "around town" since the flash according to the computer though.

One interesteding thing I did note on the work order is that it said flash for 08B07B. Might that be the 2nd release of the flash? I haven't gone into regen yet since the flash, just had one about 50 miles ago though.
