well all in all i got lucky..sort of..in my last thread you read about my left front grenading...costing me my warn hub, axle, spindle, bearings on my dana 44.etc etc...well I got lucky and found a dana 60 79 out of a snow fighter..springs and all (300 bucks)..tho may not use the springs. This is goin into my 79 F250. I am taking the whole assembly to get 'referbished." It looks like i am going from ball joints now to kingpins (still open knuckle). From my reading here on the site..this should be a nearly direct bolt up except for 1 item. The driveshaft.
)how much do i need to shorten it
)any other issues that you you can see?
)they had to cut the old rotor off the front...so 2 new rotors..can i use my old brake calipers with th dana..or are the rotors different (60 ones were included in deal..just not sure if i need them)
)any reason to consider putting on the snowfighter springs? this is not a plow truck
