O/D Light Flashed at Start up
I have a 99.5 F250 SD 7.3 Diesel with Auto Transmission. This morning it was around 40 degrees and I started the truck and drove to the end of the driveway. I have a 20' gooseneck and made a slow, sharp turn to the left. The truck acted like a stall and I stopped, put it in neutral and reved the engine and it seemed fine. Put back into drive and it did it again and again. Once straightened out, I noticed the OD light flashing. As I rolled down the road I shifted to N and shut the truck of and coasted then started back up and put into gear. No light and everything seemed fine. I shut off the OD until I reached the highway but everything seemed fine. Should I be worried and if so, where to start?

I haven't checked it yet. I was on my way to work and just got back from picking up some steel. I haven't had any other issues today but it really got my attention this morning. I thought it was going to stop in the road.

The ONLY way to know what happened is to have the codes read. You need to find someone with a Ford specific scan tool to read a Ford trans code. The code readers that auto parts stores use will tell you there is no code.
