Today I was going to swap radiators from my 66 to my 65, both trucks came with the 240 and 3sp, the 66 radiator won't fit the 65 as there's nothing to attach it to, the 65 radiator is a bit larger and has a small filler panel attached to the radiator support, went to look at the 66 rad support, it has a large filler panel attached to it for the small radiator...went to outside to look at a 66 352? truck and it has a huge radiator with no filler on the support...so my question is how many radiator sizes were offered for the 240 and is one better than the other? and would a larger rad like the one from the 352 be even better?
Unless your working it hard, no. I had my V8 radiator adapted for my 6 cyl, and it stays right @ 195 or so until I pull a long hill (we have one or 2 here!) with a tractor on the trailer or something heavy, like my 63 when I drug it home.

1965 vs 1966 F100 2WD:
The radiator supports are different, the radiators are different.
The V8 radiators were different than the 6 cylinder versions.
And...the S/T radiators were different than the A/T radiators.
Some F250 radiators were the same as F100 radiators. No F350 radiators were the same as F100's.
Which radiators do you have?
If originals, there will be an ID number either on one of the brackets, or on the top tank itself.
Also, If Im not mistaken...arent the cores themselves the same size between the 2 years...I know the V8s are and all that would be reuired to make one fit in the other years truck is swapping of the radiator mounting straps.
