2008 Lariet programming help

I have this feature that when I lock the doors with the remote or the keypad and I go to unlock them all the lights go on. I followed the instructions to disable this feature a dozen times with no luck. I am missing something.

I don't believe you can disable that feature. They should just come on and then go out, I guess it is to help you find the truck in the dark. There is a photo-optic sensor that over-rides that feature in the daylight.

The idea behind this is to let you see in your vehicle before you open the doors. You know in case the boogey man is waiting for you in the back seat.

What if it's a standard cab and there is no back seat?

I deactivated that feature on my 08. Refer to page 153 of your owners manual.

Ok, In my book it was page 156 but once I learned to read I figured it out. For those as illiterate as mysellf it was U N L O C K 3 times, not lock. I am sooooooooooooo blonde.
