Quick question

I am makin my truck like a show/race/dailydriver, and I was wounderin if anyone knows how if it is possible to take the airbag cover(the horn button) off, with out setting off the airbag lol, on the newer like 04's, I wanted to smooth it out and paint it blue along with other interior parts.

It should be safe to remove the cover as long as you don't short the wires in the yellow sleeve.
