quick question on winches

how big of a winch would you need to put on a front of a 89 f150 4x4 to be able to always pull it out
in like a range i was looking at a 2000lb but isnt that a too small for a full size truck ?

haha whoa 2k is like four wheeler
i meant 12k my friend had like a 15 on a ranger he never had any problems but i wanted to make sure

ya 12k should be fine last spring costco had warn 10k or 12k cant remember on for like $400 but i couldnt afford it

I've never seen winches in a costco before. Cool!
10K would be fine for a 1/2 ton but a 12K would be ideal.
Deep mud really adds resistance to the pull.
