sorry pro since we all dont have 4400 posts to our name. im still tryin to figure out where my 300 mark went. come to think of it i dont remember the 200. ill probably be over 400 by the time im done tonight
hahahahahahaha that was pretty good there 75. that would be an awesome project truck that you got. my uncle has a 74 highboy that just sits and rusts. aint run for about 8 or 9 years. I WANT IT
sorry pro since we all dont have 4400 posts to our name.
And lets keep it that way
Actually, I'm practically embarrased by my post count. I probably should have been doing something more important like curing cancer. Than again, I've been here a looong time and these things happen
jseim. I've got a grab handle up on the cab and I just hoist myself up there. My wife needs a ladder, or if Ivan had his way, a circus cannon
i should be studying my organizational behavior class book or doing something school related. but instead im drinking relaxing beverages and havin a few cancer sticks watchin jesse james make a rolls royce into a poop pumper/
since all the guru's are on right now what is the biggest size tire i could get on that highboy staying all stock (yea i know but i dont have alot of money to dump into it if i get it)
i gotta get some new pics of my truck up. those are all from last year when i first got it. the body on it dont lok too bad, but it was soo rusted out that ummm, idk, it was just rusted out really bad. biggest im told is a 36x12.50/16. lol, now occ is building a bike for lance armstrong. maybe later after im totally intoxicated ill go work on the truck some. i probably shouldnt cuz it takes me usually a few weeks to undo all the "improvements" lol
The '72? I sold it a couple of months ago. Swore I never would but gotta make room for the trail rig I'm going to be making.
Generally a 35" is the largest you can go on a stock highboy without rubbing. If your springs are a little tired even a 35" will rub slightly, they did on my '72.
pro your post count is the same as 1,103.75 posts per year, about 92 posts per month, about 1.5 posts per day, about .0638 pots per hour, about .001065 posts per min. All this means that you have a lot of information and knowledge and would like to share it to everyone here, or it means that you have lots of opinions. someday we all hope to be able to help others like you do but looking at my post count I have a while yet.
Chuck gone for five years huh? So what if I don't know what the hell I'm doin. No needs to get all excited about the stupid newbie. I don't really give a damn if I don't know how to turn on a computer or work this damn internet thing. I was just excited to see somebody was excited about gettin into wheelin. They're closin trails everywhere in case you guys have had your heads up somewhere. We need everybody we can get. Oh, and this newbie built a '77 Highboy w/ 4 speed, NP205, swapped in 460, and 35" tires (anybody who goes any bigger is obviously trying to compensate for other lacks in size...) front detroit locked dana 60 rear detroit locked dana 70 custom rock sliders and custom exhaust. Brand new custom fabbed bumper w/ warn 15000. The interior has got 2 jeep seats w/ five points and rhino lined floor. I got a '96 that is just startin to evolve into something as impressive. So this newbie might not know what the hell a "thread" is, but he can build and would rather build than sit on my butt and play on the internet...
Actually Pro averages 2.98 posts per day which = too much time on his hands.
Hmmmm, and Ivan averages 5.46 a day which = the pot calling the kettle black
I think Bluepartsman is going to do well here
I also think muddy4x4lane needs to switch to decaff Nobody called you a stupid newbie besides yourself. Although your last post with its non too subtle jabs at me proves that the shoe fits.
