I want to install factory ac have all the parts no donor truck to refer to just wanted to know is my original wire harness good enough for the job. the truck has just heat now another question is : can I just hook up the blower motor resistor wires on my harness to the blower motor resistors on the factory ac box an also the coldbox has wires coming out of it there is a three prong plug and a red wire with a black stripe on it does this wire go to the male lug next to the blower motor resistors. any help would be greatful. This job is a real pain in the @ss.You have to cut a huge hole in the firewall for the condenser/heater core. All the vent flaps and ducting is controlled by vacuum as opposed to cables that are there now. Then, there's all the extra wiring and the mods needed to the existing wiring. Personally, I'd go with an aftermarket setup before I went to all this trouble. Much easier install, and you'll get better cooling too! After owning a factory A/C truck, the payback is not worth the hassle. The old system just doesn't measure up to a new, modern system.

Just my opinion.
