Rick,
No question about it,go with the disc brakes, there are no advantages whatever to using drums in the front. The discs are stronger, less affected by the elements, smoother and easier to modulate, stay cooler and last longer. I have even converted the rears on my F250 to discs, I have noticed that my breaks dont get as hot when towing since the conversion.

Rick,
I used a conversion kit from a company in Castle Rock,Co. called TSM 303-688-6882. You will also need to purchase calipers and pads(for a Lincoln,if I remember right), as the kit does not come with them. I think the whole enchilada cost me about $500. Ill look through my records and see if there were any other notable issues or parts. Later,
Jeff
