Tire Presure Sensor

Hi all... So my tire presure warning light came on (i actually didnt know i had one until now)... So my question is this, how does the truck know? Where's the sensor on a moving object like the tire? Just confused and wondering...

2007+ right?

each wheel has a sensor strapped down to the rim. it is activated by wheel spinning and sends a little signal to a main box somehwere in your dash.

check your air pressure in a 4 tires and make sure they match within 1psi
