well i just pulled all the injectors out and found that my brand new o-rings(less than 200 mi.) did not hold up. the o-ring in the center by the fuel inlet was all eaten up just by where the fuel passed by not all the way around, and some of it was like long flat pecies along the side of the injector hole, i had to pull all these flat pieces of o-ring out of there and it's in the injector to. and that is why i had fuel running out my up pipe.
and yes the trany is orig. but wife said we are going to keep pray'n it last till next year at least.
ok well new single shot injectors are in, rebuild kit for turbo (did'nt help still slopy), dp-tuner, drove for 10 mi and blew a high pressure oil line. no my lucky week!
SWEET!!!!!!! hpo lines are in and she will smoke all 4 rear wheels!!! them injectors and jody's tuner are awsome!!! and the turbo man said that their is suposed to be some movement in the turbo wheel do to the oil filling the voids when it's running, so thats good to know. well i hope and pray that i'm done fixing stuff now for at least 100,000 mi.!
congrats Kent...glad it all worked out for you.. i put in my new PCM and did the IDM mod last weekend..this weekend will be the regulated return and if the WW gets here today ill be doing that and the 1.00 exhaust housing..Jody just finished my chip and sent it back to me yesterday so next weekend will be the stage 2's..man i cant wait...
sounds good ron.. hey, one more thing, yesterday i put about 65 mi. on the truck and it does have more power but it has a spratic miss sometimes around 2500 rpm's and sometimes when you slow down to a stop it will run rough ti'll you take off the it will run fine?? also it don't smoke, and i get more boost, but i got about 6 mpg, when doing the same thing stock i would have gotten 11 mpg??? still air in the lines or something wrong with the programing?? or just more power = less mpg's??
yep, done the in tank mod.. and tonight i noticed turbo woosh at 2000 rpm, also put on a turbo rebuild kit with the ww.. and when you are driveing 55-60 mph in od it shakes the whole truck if you go to speed up.
When a tranny starts to go south they will "chatter" and or shake when shifting into another gear. Or when first starting to accelerate in a gear. This is due to low fluid pressure. That valve body should help with this issue... If your tranny isn't messed up already. I would think if there is something wrong with your tranny already a VB may hurt more then help...
