Good Price?
I know somebody who has am Edge Evolution tuner pt#15000 for $275.00, but was going to offer him $225. Is this a good price for a used tuner? My main concern right now is only for pulling codes, but the performance gains will be a plus when she gets running.

IMO thats a good price.....I dont have or heard alot about the EE,but I know there is a few on here with it......I think I paid a little less for a 6pos from a fellow member....but I cant pull codes with it like you would be able to.

it's not a bad price, but the biggest problem with the Edge Evo is when you want to switch between programs you have to shutoff the truck and load the other program up. The performance levels are also pre-set and what you get is it. Compared to a chip where it can be customed tuned to what you want and what you have done to your rig

I have the superchips that I bought brand new from extreme diesel. I think I paid $319 for it brand new, and that will also scan and clear codes. Now I wish I would have just saved a little more and gotten a TW chip, or even DP tuner would probley be better. Really limits you with a programmer.

X2 on what Core250PSD said. i bought my superchips on ebay brand new for 250. it was ok when i got started with my mods, but now that i have injectors, i dont feel it can deliver. BUT... TA DA my tw 6 pos chip will be here tuesday!!!!!! my dads been eyeing my old tuner up so ill give it to him just have a code reader around. good luck with your decision
