I just wanted to say thanks to Ed (FTEpartsguy). I got my updated cup holder today(cheaper than a used one off fleabay), and I've got a list started for my next order .

C'mon Huck. You should know by now these types of posts are frowned upon unless you include pictures.

What updated cupholder are you referring to? I've been contemplating replacing the stupid hook that looks like it's always flipping me off with an ash tray. Maybe I need updated cupholders to go along with it.

A moddified cup holder? What does it do, does it hold a bigger cup, is it faster, if it's better I want one.

The 99s came with cup throwers instead of cup holders. Its a newer design, 2000 or 2001, I'm not sure. I know Brandon(bdrummonds) complains about his all the time when ever I ride with him.

You've hit the nail on the head. I couldn't get a picture of my new one (it's too dark right now). Here is a pic of the factory '99 "cup thrower"

I'll post a pic of the new one tomorrow.

It may be faster, I don't know. I haven't got to drive my truck since I put it in. I just hope it doesn't have a window setting.

I don't have any trouble with my cup holder but my ashtray is worthless but not as worthless a the little hook would be

When I was doing the F650 dash mod was the first time that my ash tray had ever been opened. I have had the truck since 2000.

You've got the gray interior right? You wanna swap for a nifty trash bag hook? I used to keep keys for trailer locks in the ashtray on my 99.
