Gas prices

Gas prices are in the low 1.70s in Springfield Ma area. A few stations are as low as $1.65.

You aren't beating anyone, you're posting a month later after prices have continued to fall. $1.89 is expensive. I never really get these gas price threads. Just go to gasbuddy or Microsoft's gas prices to see prices... and find the lowest local prices.

My son in Clifton Park, NY is reporting $2.02/gal for 89.

Ken - after checking gasbuddy for prices in the Kansas City area, I found several stations in Independence, MO (suburb of KCMO) listing $1.33/gal. I've not seen these prices for 25yrs or so.

Cool. Wish it were that low here... its heading that way.

I use both Gas Buddy and Microsoft's Gas Price Finder on MSN Autos ( Gas Prices - MSN Autos ). MSN usually, but not always, finds lower prices. I use both to find the best price -- its especially harder for me because my truck requires premium. Some stations its only a 30 cent difference between 87 and 93, others its 45 cents or more, so those two sites are a huge help.
