Fill in your sig or tell us what truck it's going in and what it's coming from.
Best is a complete donor truck of similar year so you can get the wiring harness, engine mounts, radiator, may need tranny swap too, tranny kick down linkage, etc.

If there are efi problems, as noted by others on this site, it will be a lot less work to fix the efi than to swap to the 302. And yes, you may have to take it to a shop efi is a complete mystery to you.
