BW 1345 Transfer case...
Im about ready to put my transfer case back on, but before I do I would like to look inside and do a visual inspection. Is there anything important to do when opening it? Will anything fall out? Can I just unbolt all the bolts along the edge and thats it?

(REPOST) Can anyone please tell me what's inside this? I would like to know what to check out before I install it. Is it okay to open it up, or will stuff fall out on me?

BW 1345 Transfer case...
I've only pulled apart the 1356. But they are similar. The 12 or so outside bolts, the tail shaft bolts, the speedometer ring, a shaft spring, and a spring clip are all that really holds it on. The only thing that actually falls out easily is the shift lever spring (asuming it's a manual shift), and it goes back in very easy. Everything else is pretty much bolted on or requires pulling to remove.
