I have a 2005 F250 CC LB 4x4 6.0 PSD with a steering issue. The truck pulls to the right constantly. I've had it in 2 dealerships and 1 alignment shop, with all 3 three telling me that everything checks out ok and is in specs. The truck has had this problem for about 50,000 miles. I purchased it used with about 20,000 miles on it. The tires on it were new when I purchased it and I've rotated them every 7500 miles. On every rotation, it still pulls to the right. No one can seem to inform me of what the problem is. The truck is great other than this issue. I guess there is always the possibility that the truck was wrecked before I got it... but I know where it came from, and that didn't happen. This is my last hope for someone to point me in the right direction. If someone could chime in, I'd appreciate it.
I hate the factory stabilizer....if it's blown it's position on the 05+ trucks will cause issues. You could try removing the stabilizer and see if anything changes.
If the spool valve is leaking internally, it can cause the steering to pull. The more the engine revs, the more power steering pressure, the more it leaks, the more it'll pull to one side.
I have an 05 PSD that pulls right as well. Mine is also extremely hard to turn at low speed. My oasis says the pump was replaced at 10K. It now has 38K and is out of warranty, you don't suppose Ford will repair it for free since is was an issue under warranty? I wil check the right front brake to see if it is the cause of the pulling. Thanks for the info.
