fuel pump ecc.
hey there, I was wondering if I can use the oil slinger thing, that is in front of the cam on an 89' FI motor (that was converted to carb.) to drive a manual fuel pump? I swapped out my 81 302 for an 89' 302 and put a new intake and carb on it but the elect. fuel pump makes it stumble when I open the secondary's. So I was thinking that since I had to swap the the timming covers out to keep the V-belt system, ( hind sight I should have just swapped the oil slinger off the cam with the Ecc. fuel pump drive.) Could that oil slinger thing drive the fuel pump?
