Which tranny do I have??

What is the easiest way of telling what tranny you have in your truck? I have an 04 350 super duty 6.0 deisel 4x4 with an auto trans. I am planning on doing some heavy hauling and wanted to know what I am risking and if it would be worth it to split the loads up into a couple extra trips or go for it with a heavier load. Thanks

The easiest way is that ALL 6.0L trucks with an automatic have the TorqShift (5R110) transmission. It was the only automatic available.

As long as the load is within your truck's towing rating, you can pull it with the 5R110 - great transmission. It will handle everything your truck is rated for.
