Yes dont forget to backup your stuff, also, after you back it up, dont assume it worked, check your backup cd/dvd.

The reason why I say that, is my woman just backed up her computer, and then got me to reformat it and reinstall windows, and she didnt bother to check her cd's, and for some reason half of them didnt work!
