While under the truck replacing the parking brake cable (told my wife to "mash it to the floor" while adjusting the brakes... lol she did) I saw this connector on the back of the front tire well. There's one on both sides and I'd like to know what it's used for. I know it's silly but I can't find anything on the search. Thx
Im interested in this as well...I noticed the one on passengers side but not on other side. I know someone here will know what they are...they have answered ALL of my questions!
Yep, that's an easy one, so easy in fact, I will let someone else answer it. But I will agree with the the others, it looks like something that is there for some reason.
My old '99 XLT had those same connectors going nowhere as well. I posted that question years ago in another forum and was told it was the ABS sensor connection. My '99 did not have front ABS, only rears.
Sorry folks... I'm in a quirky mood tonight with a little time to kill. Don't worry, though, it'll all be over in a few minutes when I have to pack up the laptop, pick up my son at the fencing club, and go home to become "normal" all over again.
Barry... your genius almost leaves me speechless tonight! ALMOST, but not quite! Then too, I'm riding in the same boat with you, brother!
