Question Glow plug replacement

I'm going to replace my glow plugs tomorrow, is there anything more I should be looking at while I have the V/C's off ? Also, I understand that the Autolite GP's are not the first choice here, is Bosch the way to go ?

Motorcraft #ZD-11 Glowplugs are highly recommended.

Bosch or Motorcraft/Beru (ZD-11) brand plugs. Autolites have a tendency to "mushroom" the tip... then have fun getting them out. No way I'd use Autolite glow plugs in my truck.

Just did mine yesterday. Took 3 1/2 hours. Easy to do. Make sure to get the oil out of the pockets the glowplugs are in before you remove them or you could do major damage. It's tight getting a socket past the rocker when unscrewing the plugs. I just cracked them loose with a deep 10mm and slide a tight fitting rubber hose over the end and unscrewed/removed them with that.

While you're in there, re-torque the rocker arm pedestal bolts to 20 ft-lbs and the injector hold down bolts to 120 in-lbs.

Possibly consider installing the retainer clips on the UVCH connector or put in a DIY shim to keep them from coming unplugged (I used a quarter with one end ground down).

Thanks to everybody for the input,,,,,, I will check the UVCH and do the DIY shim trick. I will also check the rocker arm pedestal bolts and injector hold down bolts, thanks F350-6 for the torque specs..........
