Pete, I have had you and your family in my thoughts and prayers since we first talked. I will continue to do so. May you, your mom, and the rest of your family find solace in the thought that he is at peace in a greater place.

Please accept my condolences too Pete. I'm not very good at this and never have been. So this is the best I can do.

Pete, Nolan said it best "Please just know that he is in a better place without fear nor pain."

I don't mean to take away, but my Grandmother also passed this year and she was in a great deal of pain, so it is my belief that she is in a fabulously wonderful place....imagine the mods we could do there... limitless.

As I am watching my father (and mother, who is doing full-time caregiving), go through alzheimers, I feel for you. Best of wishes to you and your family, and thank you for sharing with this "family". We're here for you.

Pete,

My condolences to you and your entire family. I am glad "there was adequate time for much healing of past hurts and misunderstandings". That was so, so important. And a lessen to me to spend more time with my loved ones.
