I've never heard of a Ford truck with one, but it would be a great option. Additionally, Ford doesn't want us to warm our vehicles up in the morning. They say, "start it and go". That's great if you live in a warm climate. The colder region consumers will definately need to warm up a little just to defrost the "windscreen".
Only reason im asking is because in my ford transit van i had in the UK it had heater wire laminated inside the windscreen. You could only just about see it if you looked very carefully but it would defrost a frozen window in a matter of 10-20 secs. Oh well looks like im using water.

Be very careful if it gets real cold in your area as water on a frozen windshield could spell a new windshield.

Yeah had to do the water thing on me car when it got cold. I aint silly enougn to put steaming hot water on it lol. But saying that my bro used to boil a kettle and poor it over his windscreen in the morning when they was frozen bad and he never cracked the windscreen once. Def wouldnt try that me self though as i know for sure it will crack if i did it.
I thought Ford had an electric heater in some F150s to take the chill off before the regular heater took over. Maybe that was just heated seats....
Anyway, I remember seeing something in an ad, and also seeing it derided here as being for sissies, unneeded, needlessly complex, and as for being the reason Ford is in trouble and if only they'd build a rubber-mat equipped, wheezer six with 3-on-the-tree & tube-type tires, they'd rule the world.....

Found some info about it. Looks like it was in the US for a little while then taken away. Have no idea why as it's a great invention. I used it every morning and night for weeks and weeks over the winter. here's some info
