1979 F350 frame

Does anyone know if a cab from a 1979 will fit on a 1995 F250 Frame? Both trucks are supercabs the newer truck is wrecked, 4wd, 5 speed with the 7.3 powerstroke.

Thanks

1979 F350 Supercab

I once saw a truck that, according to the owner, was a 95 (or so) F-250, 4x4 diesel with a complete '79 body swapped onto it.

I have no idea how much modification would be required, but I guess it can be done.

Thanks guys, I'm not sure which is the better route.

A- Put the powerstroke, 5 speed tranny and front axle in my 79 truck

or

B- Put my 79 truck cab on the 1995 truck frame.

I have put alot of time into the 1979 f350 and it would be a dream come true if it was 4wd with a powerstroke.

Going to be a big project either way, but It would probably be way easier to do the body swap. I'd start with taking a bunch of measurements and go from there. There will be some modifications either way. I've seen some pretty wild setups with car bodies on 4x4 frames and what not, so I can't see why something like this wouldn't work.
