Help! My Odometer Quit

Ford Windstar 1999 3.8L

My odometer went blank after disconnecting and re-connecting the battery.

How can I revive this odometer?

I need this for vehicle inspection.

Did you check to make sure that an instrument panel fuse wasn't blown when the battery was reconnected?

Windstar is a totally different beast from an Aerostar. we used to have one or 2 members that had both but don't think any of them are around any longer.

Windstar is almost a Taurus with a box on the back
same engine, tranny and front drive train unit about.
a Taurus group may be able to help

I have a 96 Windstar, but that has the old style odometer on it, not digital. Can't really help.

Windstar was based on a Lincoln Continental floorpan. Much less room inside than an Aero.

Thanks for your replies. It was Interior Fuse No. 10 (10 amp) that was blown. Everything came back to life after replacing this fuse. I was lucky this time!
