Shiffter Parts Resource
I found an outfit online that carries a shifter rebuild kit for the M5OD-2 Transmissions. They have two rebuild kits, kit # ALTM5R2-105K has the Pins, Bushings, Springs, Dust Cover, and Shifter Stub, ALTM5R2-105KS is the same minus the shifter stub. The second kit "S" is not shown on-line, but the attendant let me know about it. The first Kit cost $71.85; the second kit cost $37.53. Look under Manual Transmissions, rebuild kits. This was a great find for me because my local Ford dealers told me they could no longer get the shifter pins.
