Remember my problem 2 weeks ago? Motor acted like it was flooding? Well we were going to pull the turbo to look for an obstruction after trying about 100 other things, and were looking at the back of the turbo to see what was next, and saw that the Waste Gate linkage was un-hooked and the hose was off the actuator. Don't know how any of this happened, but it did. Hooked the linkage back up properly and connected the hose back and she runs like a new one, cold or hot.
Just think? If you would have takin it to a dealer to get it fixed $$.. 60 plus $ to check it out, another $1000.00 plus for a new turbo! Glad you found the problem! FTE # 1 Thanks for the update............
I'm glad to see you got this figured out. If you don't mind me asking, why did you decide to pull the IC tube before checking the linkage on the trubo?
This does serve as a good reminder not to overlook the simple things before tearing too far into something. Thanks for the follow up.
