sun roof question

sun roof question

i have a 08 f150 and i noticed when you use the one touch to open the sun roof it will open but not all the way. if you touch it again it will slide bac another 2 or 3 inches? why wouldnt it just open all the way?

im talkin about when its open (slid back) not when its shut and the back just opens for a little

it's just one of those little quirks. I never put mine in the 2nd back position. just the 1st back one.

ok just makin sure mine wasnt broken or something, like u said ford does that so people will go back to ford and ask if its broke then gives ford a reason to look at the truck and charge them for somethings else thats "broke"

I had the moon roof in my 04, man do I miss it. The reason it stops before going all the way back is to reduce wind buffeting. If you drive around awhile on both settings you will notice the difference.

I know if mine is on the second one and at higher speeds my headliner shakes like its out flying in the wind and man is it noisy. I always only open mine to the first spot

yea i was just curious not like the second spot if that much more open.. i just didnt no if mine was jamming or something thanks for the responses

I have an 04 screw and something broke in the sun roof it wont vent or open, has anyone taken one apart before?
