I think your mom got over on you and your buddies... As an owner of one your age I can assure you that this is an affirmative possibility.

She didn't say anything like 'how was the walk' or 'what took so long' did she?

Did your mother spend more money than she should've? The ole broken down truck routine to defer the old man form what she's done to the credit card?

Question does any one have a part number on this harness I think this might be my problem,

No. Just find a chaffed wire and tape it up. No need to replace the whole thing. You might want to bend the CCV bracket back towards the middle of the engine to keep the wires farther from the valve cover. A good rule is, you should be able to stick your finger between the valve cover and the wires.

Can I just take the CCV bracket off?

If you did that the wires would be laying on your valve cover. Like he said, just make sure that it aint touching.

Thanks guys So when I looked closer at the wire harness only the tape was frayed so thats not my problem. So tomorrow in Auto I am going to install the other CPS and see if that fixes it.
