what size lift?
i have a 1989 ford ranger4x4 2.3l 8 pluged 4cyl. that i bought used about a year ago. among some of the things i wanna do to it is lift it up. im thinking bout putting a 4 inch suspension lift on it. but after looking at pictures in magazines and at my friends truck i think it may already have a 4 inch lift on it but im not sure. if anyone knows of a way to find out if it has the lift i would appreciate it.

what size lift?
red- compare your truck to others that you know are not lifted, are you taller? You might also have a body lift. Most after market springs are a different colour than the factory ones, my trailmaster springs are orange. If you deciede to add a lift, four inches is plenty for a ranger. Get all of your pieces from the same manufacturer and you will have less problems. DF

thanks for the help. i know i dont have a body lift cause of the way it sits on the frame and i saw a 86 ranger the other day that has a 3 1/2" suspension lift and a 2" body lift and it sat a lot higher than mine. so i think i may have a small lift, maybe 1 1/2" or 2".
