460 EFI Heads??

I have a '88 F250 w\460 EFI, I would like to have the heads ported..... need suggestion on machine shop to do the work. Also I've heard later model EFI heads ( mid '90's and up???)had larger valves and smaller combustion chambers.... would the later heads be worth the expence, heads on my engine were milled slightly and rebuilt about 30,000 miles ago.

93 and up heads had larger ports and valves not a lot, but if your going to have them ported you might as well start out with the better of the two EFI heads. This is the best sorce for BBF Ford EFI head porting bar none Re in"Car"nation High Performance, BBF information / porting index

Thanks, I'll start looking for a set of 93 or newer heads. Engine doesn't have a lot of miles on it ....... that way when I get the heads back , change heads and install headers and I'll be good to go.
