HPX Crossover...

Ok...My Crossover line is installed at the BACK of both passenger side and drivers side of the heads,In this picture(from another post) it shows this crossover installed on the front of the drivers side head...Which way is correct,the front drivers side or rear drivers side??

Well that's my picture and my engine. My HPX is installed in the center of the rails. I don't think you can even see it in that picture.

I believe it is suppost to go from the back of the heads where you put it. This is a stock photo I bleieve.

LOL...I wasnt trying to steal your photo or anything like that, I was going through reading some posts and when I saw where this HPX was installed I started wondering if I had mine installed correctly.Is it better to have it installed in the center of the head?

Nope, The HPX is there, just under the spider. 2/12/08 everything done but my DP.

Phil,

Don't confuse the 2 HPO lines, which go from the HPOP to each head, with an HPX that goes from one head to the other. If your HPX goes under the spider you have it right.

When you say "Back", do you mean behind the turbo??? Mine is installed in front of the turbo & kind of under the spider:




EDIT: I see I was late. Took me longer than expected to get a couple good pics uploaded...

Okay, good. There is another set of HP oil plugs further back, so I was hoping you didn't try putting it there!! That would be a hell of a trick...

OH BOY...I could've done without hearing that...heh heh heh,but Im sure its right though,Ill try to get some pics uploaded when I get back...(taking a load to TN this afternoon),I should be back on tuesday.
