Cams are a useless upgrade on a 2V Triton series modular unless you're gonna remove the cork on top of the cylinder heads. The intake manifolds are so restrictive that you'll gain very little to no power with a cam change.

Johnny's right. I did ALOT of reserch on cams and intakes before I did my engine swap and after all the dust was settled the stock cams and intake were the best ones to use if I wanted to keep my low end torque.
Cams work well on these motors. Cams need support mods like anything else though. Open up the exhaust and intake, tune, and select the proper cams and it will wake up a modular motor plenty. You do not NEED a power adder to get a benefit out of cams on these motors. If others can make almost 400hp out of n/a 2V 5.4's with mildly ported heads, off-the-shelf grind cams, and tuning...then there's no reason you can't expect decent gains with a little work and forethought.
