[font size="1" color="#FF0000"]LAST EDITED ON 26-Jan-01 AT 02:02 AM (EST)[/font][p]Here is what you can do to find out. Its very easy and direct. But it gives you a rough estimate of the gearing. What you do is pull your drive shaft off and have some one sit down at the yoke. Then get some one to spin one tire one full turn. The person at the yoke needs to count the # of turns. That number is the ratio of your rear end. If you have 31's.....i would go with maybe something in the high 3's (like 3.83...if that is a real ratio...haha) or even 4.10's. That is a good all around ratio that will give you lots more punch off the line with out killing your top end speed. AND you can comfortably run up to 35"s with it. I have an '86 150 with the 8.8" rear and i got 3.08's.....hoped i helped...
