There are a lot of Vangelis CD's I should find. They make me happy...
For now, I'm going to listen to "The City" since I have it and don't have to find a way with dial-up.
'The City' was ( I think) the first CD in what was intended as a five C/D set, that included "VOICES" and I'm not sure what else. "Voices" was the second one, I'm pretty sure.
"The City" starts out with a slow movement, in which you hear someone walk into town and up to the breakfast counter somewhere and asks about the morning paper... One of the tracks has the sound of a small motorbike dubbed in.
It ends much the same -A "DAY" encapsulated by Vangelis, in a City someplace in the minds eye
